Golf’s European Senior Tour has agreed an extended three-year sponsorship agreement with Mauritius Commercial Bank to keep its season finale at Mauritius’ Constance Belle Plage course until 2017.
On December 12-14 this year, the winner of the European Senior Tour’s Order of Merit and its John Jacobs Trophy will again be confirmed in Mauritius.
Mauritius Commercial Bank retains the naming rights to the MCB Tour Championship, where Paul Wesselingh is set to defend his title. The financial terms of the sponsorship were not disclosed.
The MCB Tour Championship succeeded the Mauritius Commercial Bank Open in 2011, which itself evolved from the Mauritius Open that was played at Constance Belle Mare Plage from 1994 to 2008.
