Spanish Liga football club Real Sociedad has agreed a partnership deal with sportswear giant Adidas.
Adidas will provide all kit and training wear for Sociedad’s first team and age-group sides.
The length of the technical sponsorship was not disclosed, but the deal has been activated immediately.
Adidas will also collaborate with the club on the handling of sales and distribution via various platforms, including its official merchandising store and online shop.
Sociedad previously wore Adidas during a decorated period of success in the 1980s, when it won two Liga titles and the domestic Copa del Rey.
Club president Jokin Aperribay said: “This relationship means something very special because Adidas was the first big, international sportswear brand to supply Real Sociedad’s kits. We began with Adidas during the 1979-80 season, and celebrated winning the league titles wearing their brand.”
Adidas replaces rival brand Nike as Sociedad's kit supplier.
