Spanish LaLiga football club Real Betis has agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with sports management and events company UED Sports.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Spanish newspaper Marca said the Chinese company has signed a two-year deal to become the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor. The agreement will cover the remainder of the 2015-16 season and the 2016-17 campaign. UED Sports has also been named Real Betis’s main advertising sponsor.
The announcement ends the club's two-year search for a sponsor after its relationship with gaming company Cirsa ended following the 2012-13 season.
The UED Sports brand appeared on Betis’s jerseys for the first time yesterday (Sunday) during the 3-1 home defeat to Athletic Bilbao.
The partnership is set to be officially unveiled this week.
