French Ligue 1 football club RC Strasbourg has agreed sponsorship deals with real estate developer Alila Group and fast-food chain McDonald’s.
The lengths of the agreements were not disclosed, but they will cover at least the remainder of the 2017-18 season.
As part of Alila’s partnership with Strasbourg, young fans will be given the chance to attend matches and participate in training sessions with the club.
The company will also benefit from brand exposure at the Stade de la Meinau (pictured), Strasbourg’s home ground.
Alila is also a partner of fellow Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyonnais.
McDonald’s, meanwhile, will serve as the official restaurant of Strasbourg. A range of club-related initiatives will be carried out in local McDonald’s restaurants and during games at the Meinau.
As part of the agreement, supporters will receive special offers at McDonald’s stores by showing their club membership or match ticket. Each of the 14 McDonald’s stores in Strasbourg will also take part in the ‘Month of Racing’ initiative to promote the partnership.
Strasbourg is currently 16th in Ligue 1 following a 2-1 win over league leader Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday.
