German telco PŸUR has entered into a partnership with Bundesliga football club RB Leipzig.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but RB Leipzig said that the agreement will be a national partnership.
PŸUR will benefit from a branding presence on various surfaces inside the team’s Red Bull Arena home stadium.
The telco will also work with the club on a series of joint initiatives designed to boost engagement with fans.
In addition, PŸUR will partner with RB Leipzig to improve its telecommunications facilities and capabilities.
PŸUR is the new umbrella brand for Tele Columbus, Primacom, Pepcom and HL komm.
Oliver Mintzlaff, managing director of RB Leipzig, said: “With PŸUR, we have been able to gain a partner who will provide us with significant support, above all in the important field of digitisation. PŸUR as a new brand and with its fresh brand identity fits very well with our focus.”
