Rangers snub new title sponsor Cinch at Scottish Premiership opener

Cinch chief customer officer Robert Bridge (L) and SPFL CEO Neil Doncaster (R)

Defending Scottish Professional Football League champions Rangers refused to sport the logo of online used car retailer Cinch, the league's recently-announced title sponsor, on their shirt sleeves as the 2021-22 season got underway on Saturday.

The Cinch logo was also conspicuous by its absence around Ibrox Stadium as Rangers opened their title defence against Livingston. Cinch is the new title sponsor of the Scottish Premiership, Championship, League 1 and League 2 in a five-year deal that includes sleeve sponsorship branding.
