Qatar Airways has signed a renewed agreement with the Qatar Football Association to become the official airline of the Emir Cup club football competition, along with extending its backing of the national team.
The national carrier will sponsor the Emir Cup under a three year deal from 2015 through until 2017.
Additionally, Qatar Airways will remain a sponsor of Qatar’s national team during the same period.
The winner of the Emir Cup, which begins on April 24, gains a place in the 2015 Asian Football Confederation Champions League and this year’s final will take place on May 23 at Thani Jassim Stadium.
