Qatari telecommunications company Ooredoo has signed an extension to its partnership agreement with the Qatar Football Association.
The renewal is for one year and establishes Ooredoo as the official telecommunications partner of this season’s Emir Cup club competition.
Ooredoo chief executive Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani said: “Ooredoo and the QFA have a long-standing strategic relationship that has delivered some incredible sporting action over the years, and we are determined to offer even more in 2015. This year, we will present a range of activities and services for fans, players, sponsors and organisers that will delight and amaze them all when the Emir Cup kicks off.”
The winner of the Emir Cup gains a place in the 2015 Asian Football Confederation Champions League and this year’s final will take place on May 23 at Thani Jassim Stadium.
