Qatar National Bank (QNB) has announced a three-year extension to its sponsorship deal with Paris Saint-Germain, an agreement that will grant the company branding space on the shirt of the leading French football club.
QNB has partnered with the Ligue 1 champion for the past two seasons in a bid to gain stronger brand recognition in the international market.
Under the terms of the new deal, the bank said it will benefit from brand placement on one of PSG’s shirt sleeves during all Ligue 1 games.
QNB will also have advertising presence at the club's Parc des Princes Stadium, while its logo will appear on the back of all Ligue 1 match tickets. The new contract will commence from the start of the 2013-14 season.
The QNB deal comes after PSG last month agreed a five-year extension to its shirt sponsorship partnership with Emirates. The Dubai-based airline’s new agreement with the capital club will run through to the end of the 2018-19 season.
