The organising committee for the Port Moresby 2015 Pacific Games multi-sport event has agreed temporary naming rights deals for its competition venues.
Under the initiative, energy company PNG Power has become the naming sponsor of the Sir John Guise Indoor Stadium, while the official sponsor of the Games – financial services company BSP – will lend its name to the Taurama Aquatic Centre and the Sir John Guise Outdoor Stadium.
The venues will be known as the PNG Power Dome, BSP Arena and BSP Stadium, respectively, for the two-week duration of Port Moresby 2015 before reverting to their traditional names.
The 2015 Pacific Games will run from July 4-18.
