Polish oil and petroleum provider PKN Orlen has renewed its sponsorship agreement with the Polish Olympic Committee (PKOI).
The new four-year deal will cover the 2018 winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea and the 2020 summer Games in Tokyo, Japan.
Under the agreement, PKN Orlen will serve as the strategic partner of the committee and the Polish Olympic team.
The company will be granted the right to use the Polish Olympic logo and images of the team as part of the deal.
Andrzej Kraśnicki, president of the PKOI, said: “Taking into account the specific activities of our association – an organisation of nearly 100 years of tradition and heritage – the commitment of sponsors gives us the possibility of stable and continuous organisational development. I am convinced that cooperation with such an experienced partner in sponsoring sport as PKN Orlen will bring tangible benefits to each party.”
PKN Orlen has previously backed Poland at the 2006 and 2010 winter Games, as well as the 2012 and 2016 summer Games.
