Multinational consumer products manufacturer P&G has announced an extension of its partnership with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) National Olympic Committee for the second year of the UAE School Olympics programme.
Launched in September 2012, the School Olympics reached more than 85,000 students across the UAE, identifying talent in the disciplines of archery, shooting, fencing, swimming, gymnastics and athletics.
P&G promoted the initiative through its “Thank You Mom’ campaign – a global advertising drive paying tribute to the role of mothers in nurturing sporting talent from a young age that tied in with the London 2012 Olympic Games.
