French automotive manufacturer Peugeot has expanded its commitment to tennis by striking an agreement with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) in Britain.
Peugeot will be the official car provider at LTA events, providing transportation for players and officials.
The agreement will run for three years, from 2016 to 2018.
Peugeot UK has also signed a two-year sponsorship arrangement, from 2016 to 2017, with Jamie Murray (pictured), Britain’s No.1 doubles tennis player and doubles world No.2.
“Our new initiatives for 2016 are timely when there is so much focus on the sport,” Andrew Didlick, Peugeot UK’s director of brand partnerships, said.
Under a deal announced in November, Peugeot will also be the official car at more than 20 ATP World Tour tournaments.
