Italian Serie A football club Pescara has named coffee brand Saquella Caffè as its new main sponsor.
Saquella’s logo will feature on the front of Pescara’s playing jerseys during Serie A fixtures as part of the deal. The length of the agreement was not disclosed.
“Saquella has a 20-year bond with Pescara, since the presidency of (Pietro) Scibilia,” the brand’s president, Enrico Saquella, said. “Our attachment to the shirt and the Abruzzo region is a source of pride and sincere passion. We are happy to accompany the team to the new challenge of Serie A.”
The first game of the agreement was newly-promoted Pescara’s 3-1 defeat at Udinese yesterday (Sunday).
