The Professional Darts Corporation has agreed a partnership with meat snacks producer Peperami.
Under the deal, Peperami has been named an official sponsor and the official snacks brand of the PDC. The partnership will begin with the upcoming PDC World Darts Championship and will continue throughout 2016, covering all major PDC events including the Premier League and World Matchplay.
To mark the agreement, Peperami revealed the prototype for its new ‘human dartboard’ range of clothing.
PDC chairman Barry Hearn said: “Creating a range of human dartboard clothes to announce a partnership is the sort of fun and creativity we expect from a brand renowned for its mischievous personality, and we look forward to seeing more throughout 2016.”
The 2015-16 World Darts Championship will take place at the Alexandra Palace venue in London from December 17 until January 3. Scotland’s Gary Anderson (pictured) is the reigning champion.
