Serbian SuperLiga football team Partizan Belgrade has agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with telecommunications provider Telekom Srbija.
The partnership is effective from tomorrow (Wednesday) and runs until the end of 2016. It will be worth a total of RSD140.7m (€1.17m/$1.24m).
Partizan’s new board, headed by Milos Vazura and vice-president Milorad Vucelic, pledged to extend the club’s sponsorship pool when it took control last December.
Vucelic said: “This is a great day for FK Partizan. We are talking about big and powerful company. Negotiations lasted for several weeks and considering Partizan’s orientation towards Europe, it’s essential we gather as many sponsors as we can and create a powerful sponsorship pool.”
