NFL American football team Seattle Seahawks has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with Washington-based retail services provider Outerwall.
Outerwall, which changed its name from Coinstar Inc last year, will benefit from signage on the tunnels leading to the playing area at the Seahawks’ CenturyLink Field and digital signage at the stadium.
Other activation will be announced in due course but there are currently no plans to roll out Outerwall’s vending machine brands inside CenturyLink Field.
Outerwall will also contribute up to $100,000 (€73,000) to the reigning Super Bowl champion’s Spirit of 12 Partners community outreach and youth initiative.
Outerwall will donate $512 for every Seahawks’ first down gained at home during the preseason and regular season to the designated Spirit of 12 Partner for each home game. The donation amount of $512 represents the five nonprofit partners and the 12 signifies the Spirit of 12.
