French Ligue 1 football club Olympique Lyonnais has agreed two-year extension with Korean automotive company and major partner Hyundai.
Under the agreement, the financial terms of which were not disclosed, Hyundai will remain as the team’s main shirt sponsor.
The deal runs through until June 2016, when France will host Uefa Euro 2016. Hyundai is one of the official sponsors of the showpiece national team tournament of European football’s governing body.
Lyon sits 13th in Ligue 1 after five games of the 2014-15 season. At the weekend it ended a run of three straight defeats with a 2-1 victory over last term’s runner-up AS Monaco.
