French Ligue 1 football club OGC Nice has agreed sponsorship deals with hotel chain 7 Days Inn and financial services company Westfield.
China-based 7 Days Inn will serve as the club’s sleeve sponsor for Ligue 1 fixtures during the 2017-18 season and will also be the only sponsor that appears on Nice’s shirts during the club’s European fixtures this season.
Nice finished the 2016-17 Ligue 1 season in third place, qualifying for the Uefa Champions League play-off round. It will face Italian Serie A side Napoli on Wednesday in the first leg of the play-off. Should Nice lose the two-legged play-off it will enter into the Uefa Europa League.
Westfield, meanwhile, will serve as an official regional partner of Nice in Asia.
As part of the deal, the length of which was not disclosed, Westfield will benefit from promotion across Nice’s website, and on the club’s official channels on social media platforms Weibo and WeChat.
Westfield will also be able to use Nice’s badge for communications purposes.
