Sports betting company Sportium has agreed a two-year extension to its sponsorship deal with LaLiga, the new brand name of the Spanish Football League (LFP).
In October, Sportium entered into a partnership with the LFP for the ongoing 2014-15 season. Sportium secured the designation of official betting house of the LFP and has worked alongside the league to promote integrity and fraud prevention.
The deal has today (Friday) been extended to cover the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.
Sportium chief executive Alberto Eljarrat said: “It is a privilege to renew this partnership with LaLiga, which is one of the most prestigious competitions worldwide. This will allow us to consolidate our leadership in sports betting nationwide.”
Sportium will continue as a second-tier partner of LaLiga alongside Mahou, Nike, Sockatyes and Cabreiroa.
