Sportswear manufacturer BLK has signed a four-year extension to its partnership with the New Zealand Rugby League governing body.
Under the agreement, BLK will continue to supply the playing kits for the New Zealand national team until the end of 2019. The partnership also includes the Kiwi Ferns women’s team and NZRL’s Junior Kiwis youth programme.
“Their unique team culture makes our Kiwis one of the iconic brands in New Zealand sport,” NZRL commercial general manager Sarah Lewis said. “BLK has certainly helped us extend that design footprint internationally by bringing our culture to life with its distinct and innovative garments.”
BLK’s new range of New Zealand merchandise will be launched in April.
The company first teamed up with NZRL in 2012. The new agreement will cover the 2017 World Cup, which will be staged in New Zealand, Australia and Papua New Guinea.
