The Gold Coast Titans have signed online sports betting operator Neds as its new Principal Partner amid a wealth of sponsorship activity at the NRL rugby league club.
The three-year deal will run until the end of the 2021 NRL season, with the Neds logo to be displayed across the front of the Titans jersey, on the back of the shorts and on stadium signage assets.
With Neds being an entertainment and betting company, no promotion is allowed internationally or with people under 18, so an agreement has also been struck with White Ribbon Australia, an organisation working to end men’s violence against women, to display their logo on the front of jersey for the Titans’ match in New Zealand and for all youth jerseys sold in retail outlets.
Titans executive chairman, Dennis Watt, said: “Neds are a start-up company who have only been in operation for 12 months and have shown that they are a serious player in what is a competitive market.
“This will be a real partnership and I know both the off-field team at the Titans and the staff at Neds are working together on some really great initiatives. Neds are a community-minded company and you can see by the arrangement they have made with White Ribbon that they are people committed to making a difference.”
Meanwhile, TFH Hire Services will remain with the club, as platinum and sleeve partner, for two years, through until the end of 2020. TFH Hire Services were the club’s Naming Rights Partner in 2018, with a two-year option, but following the Neds deal the company has committed to the sleeve panel moving forward.
Finally, Orbitz Elevators has also committed to the club for a further two years, through until the end of 2020. Orbitz Elevators first partnered with the Titans in season 2018 and will now have its logo displayed on the lower back position of the game jerseys.
