English county cricket club Nottinghamshire has signed a record two-year sponsorship deal with auction house John Pye Auctions.
In what is the club’s single largest sponsorship deal, John Pye & Sons Ltd, trading as John Pye Auctions, will have its logo on all three of Nottinghamshire’s playing shirts for the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
As part of the deal, John Pye will benefit from a comprehensive package of rights including shirt branding, ground advertising and hospitality and tickets for international and domestic games at Nottinghamshire’s Trent Bridge home.
John Pye will also work closely with Nottinghamshire’s charitable arm, the Trent Bridge Community Trust.
“As a family-operated business, based in Nottingham, John Pye couldn’t be a better fit for us,” Justin Tose, Nottinghamshire’s commercial director, said. “Having a deal covering all three shirts is a huge step forward for the club, with a company who share brand values and a common goal in wanting to see us succeed.”
