The French Football Federation has extended its kit partnership with sportswear giant Nike.
The new eight-year deal covers the period from 2018 to 2026, with Nike to continue supplying kit for all French national teams. Amateur football will also be integrated into the partnership for the first time.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but the L’Équipe newspaper reported that the deal will earn the FFF €50m ($53.1m) a year, making it the most lucrative kit partnership in the body’s history.
L’Équipe reported that Nike would annually provide €38m in cash and €12m in equipment for national teams, leagues and districts.
The FFF first partnered with Nike in 2011 and its current agreement is said to comprise €38m in cash and €7.5m in equipment.
