NHL ice hockey franchise the Buffalo Sabres has entered into a partnership with Mercedes-Benz which will see the German automotive company take on naming rights to a new business suite at the club’s home arena.
The Mercedes-Benz Business Class Suite at First Niagara Center opened earlier this week. The suite is fitted with presentation technology, high-definition televisions and a contemporary-style conference table and will overlook the playing surface. It will be made available to Sabres partners on game days and non-game days.
“Local companies can now greatly enhance the experience of their next important meeting,” Bruce Popko, executive vice-president of business development at Pegula Sports and Entertainment, which oversees the management of Buffalo’s major sports clubs, said. “They can take care of business with the benefit of a one-of-a-kind setting and then enjoy the game in a luxury suite.”
