The Detroit Red Wings has entered into a partnership with wholesale insurance broker and underwriting manager Burns & Wilcox, while rival NHL ice hockey franchise the San Jose Sharks has struck a deal with the Miner Family Winery.
Terms of the Red Wings deal were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that Burns & Wilcox will become an official partner of the team and company branding will appear on the centre ice at the franchise’s new Little Caesars Arena.
The Red Wings’ first home game at the arena will be against the Minnesota Wild on October 5.
Meanwhile, the Miner Family Winery will serve as a partner of the Sharks in a deal that the team has described as an “exclusive partnership.”
Miner Family Wine will become the official wine of the BMW Lounge corporate facility at the team’s SAP Center home, while its products will also be available in the Alaska Airlines Club, the Citrix Suite Level and on the concourse at the arena.
In addition, the company will benefit from signage and branding opportunities at the SAP Center, as well as the opportunity to host wine tasting events at the venue throughout the coming season.
The length of the Sharks deal was not disclosed.
