NFL’s Browns secure new banking partner

US regional financial services company KeyBank has entered into a partnership with the Cleveland Browns NFL American football franchise.

Although terms of the multi-year deal were not disclosed, the Crain’s Cleveland Business newspaper said that the two parties have signed a ‘long-term’ agreement that will come into effect from the 2017 season.

Key Private Bank will serve as the team's official wealth management private bank.

The company will also benefit from a branding presence on signage inside the Browns’ FirstEnergy Stadium, as well as acquire naming rights to the Cleveland Club premium facility at the stadium, which will now be known as the KeyBank Club.

The contract also includes joint community initiatives for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland venture, in addition to media spots on the Browns’ television, digital and radio properties, and title sponsorship of the team’s annual golf outing.
