Daily fantasy sports website Draft Ops has secured a commercial partnership with NHL ice hockey team New York Islanders and its Barclays Center home arena.
The main element of the agreement is naming sponsorship of the Draft Ops Ice Club, which will be located next to the rink on the west end of the arena for all Islanders games and feature extensive branding.
Additionally, the Draft Op Fantasy Lounge will be established in Barclays Center’s main concourse and will serve as an interactive daily fantasy location.
During Islanders games, Draft Ops will benefit from television-visible signage and LED signage, while it will also be represented on the team’s press conference backdrops. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Fantasy sports gaming is a booming industry and we are excited that Draft Ops will further build its business through a fully integrated alliance with the New York Islanders in Brooklyn and Barclays Center,” Brett Yormark, chief executive of Barclays Center, said.
