Minnesota Wild banks partnership

NHL ice hockey franchise the Minnesota Wild has entered into a partnership with US financial services company Associated Bank.

The bank has been named a business partner of the club for the remainder of the 2015-16 NHL season.

As part of the agreement, an ‘Associated Bank Power Play Zone’ area, which will give fans the opportunity to test their ice hockey skills, will be set up during games at the Wild’s Xcel Energy Center home arena. Fans will be sent pictures of themselves in action and will be encouraged to share the content on social media.

Supporters will also benefit from discount offers at the club’s official Hockey Lodge stores. The two parties will announce further offers and initiatives over the course of the season.

“Our goal is to make sure consumer and business customers in Minnesota can bank at full strength as we continue to grow and invest in the notorious hockey state,” Christopher Piotrowski, executive vice-president and chief marketing officer at Associated Bank, said.
