Australian online pharmacy Chemist Warehouse has agreed a two year deal with the Melbourne Stars, with the Big Bash League Twenty20 cricket franchise completing its sponsorship roster for the forthcoming season.
Chemist Warehouse will support the Stars’ community and grassroots programmes, including the youth cricket initiative Hussey’s Heroes, which features Australia limited overs all-rounder David Hussey and a selection of his Melbourne team-mates.
The group will be present at Stars’ Family Fun Days, where health insurance provider Health.com.au will also benefit from exposure after signing on as an official partner. Health.com.au will also be integrated into Melbourne Stars matchday events.
Additionally, luggage brand Antler has extended its deal with the team for a third successive year and its new branding will be displayed by the Stars’ cheerleaders throughout the season.
Chemist Warehouse sits along principle partner Dick Smith and major partner Mitsubishi Motors in the Melbourne Stars’ top sponsorship tier.
