Online foreign exchange trading firm FXPrimus has agreed a deal to become a partner of Australian A-League football team Melbourne City.
FXPrimus will serve as the club’s official online forex trading partner for three-and-a-half years, from 2015 to 2018.
FXPrimus will also acquire a range of promotional and marketing rights, including branding across the club’s various digital channels as well as a presence in hospitality suites and corporate functions during City home games.
The agreement was announced after FXPrimus also entered into a partnership with Manchester City, the English Premier League club that purchased a controlling stake in the Australian team last year.
Melbourne City rebranded from its previous name of Melbourne Heart for the 2014-15 season as part of the deal with the English club.
