Fast-food restaurant chain McDonald’s has renewed its partnership with the AFL Aussie rules football competition, through which it will now sponsor the AFL Women’s league.
The company’s new deal with the AFL will run for five years. McDonald’s has been the official restaurant of the AFL since 2015, with McCafe also being the league’s official coffee.
McDonald’s also holds naming rights to the ‘Maccas’s Kick 2 Kick’ programme, which gives fans the opportunity to have a kick at their favourite stadium after the final siren of AFLW and JLT Community Series matches and during selected games of the 2018 AFL Premiership season.
The expanded relationship names McDonald’s as an official partner of AFLW, which launched last year.
