Telecommunications company Orange has signed up as an official partner of the Vélodrome, the redeveloped home stadium of French Ligue 1 top-tier football club Olympique de Marseille.
The deal will run for three years, but does not include naming rights.
Patrick Figuères, director of Orange’s operations in the south-east of France, said that the company opted against obtaining the naming rights due to the company wishing to maintain a “national footprint.”
Orange has been a partner of Marseille for the past 13 seasons.
The redeveloped Vélodrome opened in October. The stadium will be a key venue during the Uefa Euro 2016 national team tournament in France.
