English Premier League football club Manchester United has extended its global partnership with Japanese engine manufacturer Yanmar.
The length of the new deal, which will also see Yanmar continue to serve as the club’s agricultural vehicles partner, was not disclosed.
Since teaming up with United in 2012, the company has received exposure through digital marketing boards and networking opportunities during the club’s home games.
The renewal of the partnership was marked by the unveiling of a dual-branded tractor at a promotional event in Bangkok, Thailand.
Ken Araki, general manager at Yanmar Holdings Sports Marketing Group, said: “Thailand is the most important market for Yanmar and the best way to deliver our strong message to make people’s lives more affluent in Thailand is to collaborate with Manchester United.”
