Swiss banking group Swissquote has extended and expanded its partnership with English Premier League football club Manchester United.
The company, which currently serves as the official global forex and online financial trading partner of United, has signed a multi-year extension with the club.
Under the enhanced deal, Swissquote will feature on digital perimeter boards during the club’s Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup games, and in the backdrop of post-match interviews with players and managers.
Giveaways will also be organised between the two parties, granting Swissquote customers the chance to win such prizes as hospitality tickets, training ground access and trips to European away games.
“The new deal reflects the ongoing success in the development of our global brand, particularly in our key markets such as the Middle East and Asia,” Swissquote chief executive and co-founder Marc Burki said.
Manchester United’s group managing director Richard Arnold added: “We have recently secured some new and exciting partnerships. However, it is equally important for our long-term success that we enhance our relationship with existing partners. In this case, Swissquote understands the true value of working with us, having had first-hand experience of what the partnership can achieve.”
Swissquote became United’s first commercial partner in the foreign exchange sector when agreeing a multi-year deal in January 2015.
