Australian winery Wolf Blass has entered into a partnership with English Premier League football club Manchester City.
The multi-year deal names Wolf Blass the official wine partner of the club in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Mexico. Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
Wolf Blass will organise a consumer campaign for Manchester City supporters as part of the deal. The campaign will include in-store promotions, giveaways, digital and social media activations, consumer events and co-branded merchandise.
Wolf Blass recently agreed partnerships with Nippon Professional Baseball, the operator of Japan’s domestic league, and the NBA China division of North America’s National Basketball Association. The winery’s parent company, Treasury Wine Estates, is also a partner of the AFL Aussie rules football league.
