Italian sportswear brand Macron has agreed a partnership with Portuguese Primeira Liga football team Sporting Lisbon.
Macron replaces rival Puma as Sporting’s technical sponsor for three years, from 2014-15 to 2016-17. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Macron has released images of Sporting’s home and away kits for 2014-15, along with a retro Stromp Jersey, which takes its name from former player and manager Francisco Stromp.
Sporting will return to the Uefa Champions League for the 2014-15 season following a second-place finish in the Primeira Liga last term.
