Swiss watchmaker Longines has expanded its partnership with the European Equestrian Masters (EEM) series in a deal that will further strengthen its backing of the sport.
Under the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, Longines will become the title sponsor of the Masters, a series of show jumping events in Hong Kong, Los Angeles in the US and the French capital of Paris.
Longines, which already served as title partner of the events in Hong Kong and Los Angeles, will now acquire the rights to the entire series as well as the Paris competition.
As part of the deal, Longines will also lend its name to the EEM’s Speed Challenge and Grand Prix.
In addition, Longines has agreed to become the official timekeeper and watch of the Masters. The company already serves as the official timekeeper and watch of all EEM events.
