Swiss watchmaker Longines has extended a global deal to remain the title partner of the Global Champions Tour equestrian series.

Terms of the multi-year agreement were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that the event will continue to be known as the Longines Global Champions Tour.

Longines will also retain its role as the official timekeeper of the series.

Jan Tops, founder and president of the Global Champions Tour, said: “Since we launched Global Champions Tour in 2006 we have strived to raise standards in all aspects of show jumping to benefit all stakeholders and we are committed to driving this further in future years with this tremendous support from our long-term partner Longines.”
