Motor oil brand Liqui Moly has signed as an Official Partner for the 2020 European Athletics Championships in Paris.
Under the deal, Liqui Moly gets LED advertising board visibility in and around the host venue – the Charlety Stadium – during the five days of competition in August 2020.
Liqui Moly will also get branding on event promotions in Paris, as well as ticketing and VIP hospitality rights.
Liqui Moly managing director, Ernst Prost said: “This week in Paris is a great fit for our global brand awareness strategy. It helps to improve visibility beyond our traditional involvements in motor sports.”

Liqui Moly previously partnered with European Athletics at the Amsterdam 2016 European Athletics Championships.
European Athletics, president Svein Arne Hansen said, “We understand their market research showed that was a successful venture for them and it certainly was for us, and I expect it to be even more worthwhile for both parties this time around.”
Liqui Moly joins supermarket chain SPAR, cheese brand Le Gruyère and tyre brand Toyo Tires as top-tier partners for the championships.
