English Premiership rugby union club Leicester Tigers has extended its partnership with power tool manufacturer STIHL.
The new three-year deal will see STIHL retain brand exposure on the sleeves of Leicester’s home and alternate shirts.
As part of the agreement, the Tigers’ grounds team will also be provided with outdoor power tools, equipment and protective workwear.
Last season, STIHL worked with the club to promote STIHL Timbersports, which sees athletes compete in six axe and saw disciplines which replicate traditional lumberjack skills. STIHL Timbersports also sponsored the Tigers’ Oktoberfest match day at Welford Road last season.
STIHL has been a sponsor of the club since 2014 and also benefits from branding around Welford Road, including on the reverse of the big screen and on the first team’s warm-up bibs.
