English Premiership rugby union club Leicester Tigers has entered into a partnership with mobile gaming company LeoVegas.com.
The three-year deal runs until the end of the 2018-19 season and names LeoVegas.com as the Tigers’ official betting and gaming partner. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, although the club said the deal represented a “significant investment” for LeoVegas.com.
Under the agreement, the company’s branding will feature on the team’s playing shorts from now until the end of the deal. LeoVegas.com’s logo will also appear on adult replica shorts for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons.
The deal also includes official partner accreditation, media space at the Tigers’ Welford Road stadium, matchday tickets and VIP hospitality packages. LeoVegas.com will also benefit from advertising exposure via two perimeter boards at Welford Road from next season onwards, and one board for the duration of the 2016-17 campaign.
A number of PR, social media and consumer-engagement activities will be organised by LeoVegas.com to promote the partnership.
LeoVegas.com’s branding appeared on the Tigers’ shorts for the first time during the 43-0 defeat against Glasgow Warriors in the European Champions Cup on Saturday.
