Lech Poznan scores double deal with Nike and STS

Polish Ekstraklasa football club Lech Poznan will wear Nike kits from next season after making the US sportswear giant its new technical sponsor.

Nike replaces German company Puma as Poznan’s kit manufacturer and the agreement covers the club’s first, second and youth teams. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Nike’s new Lech Poznan kit will be launched in mid-July at the same time as the club reopens its official stadium shop, which is in the process of a major overhaul ahead of the roll-out of its Nike range.

In other news, STS will continue to adorn the front of Poznan’s shirts when the Nike partnership comes into effect after the betting company agreed a one-year extension to its sponsorship deal.

Renewing a partnership established in April 2013, STS will also continue to benefit from exposure on pitch side LED boards, the big screen at Poznan’s Inea Stadion, the club’s television advertising campaigns and official website and fan activations.

Lech Poznan finished as runner-up to Legia Warsaw in the 2013-14 Ekstraklasa and will enter the Uefa Europa League in the second qualifying round next season.
