English county cricket club Lancashire has extended its partnership with car leasing company Leasing Options.co.uk.
The new two-year deal covers the 2017 and 2018 seasons. The Manchester-based organisation has been a sponsor of the club for the last three years, and the significantly enhanced new investment is part of Leasing Options’ long-term plan to grow its market share.
The extended partnership now includes exclusive stand naming rights of the A Stand at Old Trafford and also the creation of the brand new Leasing Options Terrace, overlooking the outfield and adjacent to the new 150-bed Hilton Garden Inn, which opens in August.
As part of the partnership, Leasing Options will also have access to the Lancashire first team squad, with plans including a range of car-based challenges to be filmed at Old Trafford and shared with fans of the club. The brand will also appear on the sleeve of the Lancashire Lightning Royal London One Day Cup kit, alongside principal shirt sponsor AO.com.
Daniel Gidney, chief executive at Lancashire, said: “They have been a partner with us for a couple of years but we’ve really grown the partnership and taken them to the next level, in terms of their sponsorship with us.
“It is testament to their vision and how they want to grow their organisation. They’re very strongly placed now to really attack their own market place and we believe that we can give them a platform to do so.”
