UK-based vehicle manufacturer Land Rover has agreed a sponsorship deal for the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup club competition.
Under the agreement, which was brokered by the Infront Ringier agency, Land Rover will initially benefit from an extensive in-arena and on-ice presence at this week’s semi-finals and final.
Additionally, Land Rover’s branding will feature on all playing jerseys and in print advertising, while it will receive tickets for customers, partners and employees. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Today (Tuesday) Geneve-Servette HC host Kloten Flyers in the first semi-final and ZSC Lions of Zurich visit SC Bern tomorrow to contest a place in Sunday’s final.
Insurance company Zurich is the presenting partner of the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup, while Land Rover is an official partner alongside UPC Cablecom, Otz Tal Solden, Powerfood and Engelbert Strauss.
