LaLiga, which operates the top two divisions of Spanish football, has entered into a partnership with dental care firm Vitaldent.
The agreement will cover the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons. Vitaldent will serve as the official dental clinic of LaLiga.
The deal covers the top-tier LaLiga and the Segunda Division, with Vitaldent to benefit from in-stadium brand exposure and advertising during television broadcasts of matches.
Javier Martín Ocaña, managing director and chief executive of Vitaldent, said: “This agreement is the best example of Vitaldent's commitment to promoting healthy living habits, among which sport is a fundamental part. LaLiga is the competition that best reflects this spirit and has more depth in Spanish society. The relationship between sport and oral health is direct and that is why we want to raise public awareness of the importance of oral health through the practice of sport.”
