Kappa furthers ties to Angers SCO

French Ligue 1 football club Angers SCO has agreed a four-season extension to its partnership with kit partner Kappa.

The Italian sportswear company has partnered with the club since 2013 and its new contract will cover the four seasons spanning 2019-20 to 2022-23.

François-Xavier Chupin, chief executive of Kappa Europe, said: “The renewal of our contract, accompanied by a significant increase in our support for a club that grows year after year, is in perfect agreement with our ambition and our project to make Kappa a major sports brand in Europe.

“Our commitment is at all levels of the club and through all its components, whether with the pro team, the training centre and football school, the new centre Angers SCO Footsall, Angers SCO Handball, or as a member of the SCO Foundation.”
