Italian banking group UBI Banca has entered into a partnership with the country’s Serie A football club Juventus.
The deal, the length of which was not disclosed, names UBI Banca as the official bank of Juventus.
Under the agreement, co-branded bank cards featuring club-specific imagery will be produced for Juventus supporters.
“This agreement with UBI Banca represents a new breed of partnership based on the sharing of important objectives,” Giorgio Ricchi, head of global partnerships and corporate revenues at Juventus, said. “We are expecting to see concrete, tangible results. Juventus will be the channel for UBI Banca to access millions of people and offer them tailored products.”
UBI Banca joins TIM, Samsung, Balocco, Randstad, Mediaset Premium, Sky, Goodyear, Philips and Trenitalia as second-tier partners of the defending Serie A champion.
