Spanish LaLiga football club Villarreal has signed a shirt sponsorship deal with Saudi mobile phone operator Jawwy, a subsidiary of telco STC.
Jawwy will serve as the club’s sleeve sponsor for the remainder of the 2017-18 season. Its logo will also appear on Villarreal’s training kit.
In addition, Jawwy’s logo will be incorporated alongside all official club sponsors across Villarreal’s advertising platforms.
Earlier this month, Jawwy agreed a deal to become a shirt sponsor of fellow LaLiga club Levante until the end of the season.
A number of Saudi players have recently joined LaLiga clubs as part of a strategic partnership between the league and the General Sports Authority of Saudi Arabia.
