US sports equipment supplier Spalding has entered into a partnership with the Italian Basketball Federation (FIP).
Spalding has agreed a four-year deal to serve as the body’s technical sponsor. The agreement will run until 2020, covering that year’s summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
Spalding will supply kit and equipment for Italy’s senior and youth teams, as well as coaches and other FIP staff.
The agreement also extends to regional committees and major events such as the Trofeo delle Regioni.
